Teen Theatre’s GREASE is the word July 8–16

Here is Rydell High’s senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding Burger Palace Boys and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking Pink Ladies in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Head ‘greaser’ Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their “Summer Nights” as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as “Greased Lightnin’,” “We Go Together,” and “Hopelessly Devoted to You” recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation. An eight-year run on Broadway and subsequent revivals, along with innumerable school and community productions place GREASE among the world’s most popular musicals.

The cast features Lance Laughlin as Danny Zuko and Ella Orr as Sandy Dumbrowski.

The Pink Ladies: Amber Bowering as Rizzo, Brooke Childers as Frenchy, Vanessa Shanaman as Marty, and Kylie Whittier as Jan.

The Burger Palace Boys: Gage Hill as Kenickie, Gavin Hofstatter as Doody/Teen Angel, Atticus Jarrett as Roger, and Blake A. Armentrout as Sonny.

Other cast members include Annika Campbell as Patty, Nathan Shanaman as Eugene, Brylee Warwick as Cha-Cha/Pink Ladies Ensemble, Orlando Dario Moreno II as Vince Fontaine/Burger Palace Boys Ensemble, Tyler Schlosser as Johnny Casino/Burger Palace Boys Ensemble, Anya Stuart as Radio Voice/Pink Ladies Ensemble, and Kaiti Wenzel as Miss Lynch/Pink Ladies Ensemble.
