Feed the need for musical hilarity with this delicious sci-fi smash about a man-eating plant.

A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS has devoured the hearts of theatre-goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (DISNEY’S THE LITTLE MERMAID, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and ALADDIN) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.

Meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” — after his co-worker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down-and-out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it… BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out-of-this-world origins and intent towards global domination!

Performances will be held at The Hirt Theater at Bellevue Society for the Arts, 205 Maple St., Bellevue.

The cast includes Bryce Nevison as Seymour; Mallory Johnson-Williams as Audrey; Rick Hudgel as Mr. Mushnik; Samuel Hohman as Orin; Adrian Lash as the voice of Audrey II; Pàislig Greenlees, Savannah (Kai) Hetrick, and Omar Otsutsuki as Audrey II’s puppeteers; Kyrsten Lilly as Crystal; Sarah Christophel as Ronnette; and Ashley Dawson as Chiffon.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS is directed by Dani Hummel-Sass. Music Director is Van Parker, who will also conduct a live orchestra. Pàislig Greenlees also serves as Assistant Director. Jimy Foreman choreographs. Rehearsal Accompanist is Elizabeth Longbrake. Stage Manager is Coral Snell. It is produced by special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS is sponsored by Cornerstone Counseling and Mel & Jeanie Miller & Family.
